SimpleJotter (“the App”) is designed to help users manage important tasks in a simple and distraction-free way. Your privacy is important to us, and this policy explains how your information is handled.

SimpleJotter does not collect, store, or share personal data on external servers.

All data you create in the app, including task lists and entries, is stored locally on your device only.

2. Use of Device Features

The App may request access to the following device features:

• Microphone & Speech Recognition
  Used to allow voice input when creating tasks. Audio is processed using Apple’s built-in speech recognition services and is not stored by the App.
• Photos / Camera
  Used to import images for text recognition (OCR). Images are processed on-device and are not uploaded or stored externally.
• Notifications
  Used to remind you of task due dates. Notification data remains on your device.

3. Data Storage

All task data is stored locally using your device’s storage. We do not operate any servers and do not have access to your data.

4. Third-Party Services

SimpleJotter does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third parties.

6. Security

Because all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device’s own security measures (such as passcodes and encryption).

7. Your Control

You have full control over your data:

• You can delete tasks at any time
• You can remove the app to delete all stored data

8. Children’s Privacy

SimpleJotter does not knowingly collect any personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any updates will be reflected within the App Store listing or accompanying documentation.
